How do I order a custom cake?
Click on the Menu link to get an idea of flavors. Go to the Galleries to look at design ideas. Every cake on this website has been baked and decorated at The Bake Works.
We recommend contacting us about 2 weeks in advance to begin the quote and design process. Custom cakes often require some back-and-forth to finalize the design, size, flavors and pricing. You can call or email us if you have media to share.
All custom cake orders must be finalized and paid in full at least 3 days in advance. An order is not considered confirmed until the details are finalized and payment has been received. We take cash or credit cards. We have Apple Pay. We can email a paylink as well.
How Much do your Custom Decorated Cakes Cost?
The price depends on the decorations and size, decorating charge added to the price of the cake. The price can go up depending on the amount and complexity of decorations. We will be happy to quote you if you bring in a picture or email us with an idea.
What if I need a birthday cake for today or tomorrow?
The best thing to do is come in and pick out a freshly prepared cake from our case. We have 6” and 8” cakes available. We have several different flavors to choose from such as Vanilla with Buttercream, Black and White, Red Velvet with Cream Cheese Frosting, Cannoli Cake, Lemon Raspberry, Chocolate on Chocolate… We can write on it for you. And we have candles and birthday cards to complete your gift.
How Much Notice do you need for Dessert Orders
Please give us at least 2 days notice to prepare a special pie or dessert tray, etc
